It’s been more than a week since anyone has heard from a new Midfield mother, and police are asking anyone with information on her disappearance to come forward.
Tiffany Osborne, 30, was last seen Monday, Feb. 17, in the Fairfield Highlands area of Midfield. Det. Michael Jeffries said her boyfriend told investigators she left to go to a neighborhood store and never returned. She was reported missing on Wednesday.
Osborne and her boyfriend have a 3-month-old baby, who is home with the father. “She hasn’t even reached out to check on the baby and that’s our biggest concern,’’ Jeffries said. “No one has heard from her.”
The detectives said friends and family were in contact with Osborne all during the weekend prior to her disappearance. He said those who know her best say it’s unusual for her to not be in contact with them.
“I’ve knocked on doors, I’ve talked to all of her friends,’’ he said.
Asked if foul play is involved, Jeffries said, “We don’t have any indication of that, but it definitely can’t be ruled out at this point.”
