Missing Boscawen Woman Found In Concord's Marjory Swope Park

New Hampshire Fish & Game, police were in the park after Brooke Bucknam's vehicle was spotted in the parking lot. Her body was found Friday.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and state officials have found a Boscawen woman missing since earlier this week in a popular hiking spot in the city's West End. The body of Brooke Bucknam, a hair stylist at Peter's Images in Downtown Concord, was discovered in Marjory Swope Park off of Long Pond Road Friday. Officers were sent to the park after Bucknam's Honda Civic was found in the parking lot of the park.

New Hampshire State Police and New Hampshire Fish & Game were called to assist with the search. Eventually, her body was found.

According to friends, Bucknam was recently diagnosed with a medical condition and had begun taking medication for the diagnoses. She reportedly became confused at work and left around noon on Wednesday. It was unusual, however, for her to just disappear and not be in touch with friends and family, sources told Patch, which made them concerned for her safety.
