BALTIMORE, MD — The wife of Baltimore Ravens safety Earl Thomas faces weapons charges after police in Austin, Texas, said Nina Thomas pointed a handgun at her husband's head during a dispute. Court documents and media reports say the couple argued, Earl Thomas left their home and his wife used an app to track him to a house where she found him in bed with another woman.

Earl Thomas, a native of Orange, Texas, lives in Austin. The dispute happened April 13 shortly after 3:30 a.m., the Austin Police Department said.

Earl Thomas, 31, earned Pro Bowl honors in his first year with the Ravens. He has a four-year, $55-million deal, including $32 million guaranteed, with the Ravens, the Baltimore Sun reports.

A team official reportedly said the Ravens are investigating whether Earl Thomas’ conduct violated his contract.

Earl Thomas posted a short video to Instagram Wednesday that he later took down, but was posted by some outlets, including Jonas Shaffer of the Sun.

"Instead of talking about us just keep us in your prayers," he said. "Stuff like this happens. We try to live the best lives we possibly can, but sometimes it don't go as planned."

Thomas said he is visiting his children, and he and his wife are talking. What happened between the couple is not "anybody's business," he added.

Police reports said Earl Thomas went to a rental home after he had argued with his wife. She accessed his Snapchat account, where she saw video of Earl with other women. Nina Thomas and two friends then went to the house where they confronted her husband with a knife and his 9mm handgun.

While Nina Thomas told police she had removed the gun's clip, she didn't know it still had a bullet in the chamber. Authorities said she hit her husband in the face with the gun as they struggled, TMZ reports.

Nina Thomas was charged with burglary of a residence with intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon — family violence, and released on $25,000 bail. An emergency protective order says Nina Thomas cannot have contact with her husband or the woman whom she found with Earl.

Nina Thomas's attorney, Jonathan Goins, told TMZ Sports: "I am here to declare that my client unequivocally and categorically denies these allegations and we look forward to our day in court where we can clear her good name."
