Woman, 28, among three people shot overnight in NYC

A 28-year-old woman was among three people shot overnight across the city in separate incidents, police said Saturday.

The woman was shot in the left arm in the rear of 3556 Holland Ave. near East 214th Street in the Bronx at 6 a.m., police said.

The victim was uncooperative and transported to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition, police said. No other information was available.

Just 20 minutes earlier, in Brooklyn, a man was shot once in the left leg while sitting inside a gray Hyundai Elantra in front of 182 Chestnut St. in East New York, police said. The shooting victim, 20, was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.

In the earliest incident, a man in his 20s walked into Jamaica Hospital in Queens at about 1:30 a.m. with a gunshot wound in his left thigh. Police said the wounded man’s injuries were not life-threatening, but he refused to give cops in the 102nd Precinct any information, including his name.

The latest shooting scorecard comes a day after three men were shot, one fatally, in a pair of attacks launched within about a half-hour of each other in the city.
