TRIANGLE, VA — The man fatally shot Saturday night, July 20, near the intersection of Buell Court and Old Triangle Road has been identified as James Edward Grooms, 32, of Louisa, according to Prince William County Police. The unidentified victim was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead.

Police responded to the area shortly before 9:45 p.m. for a reported shooting and found the victim. He was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead. The incident "appears to be isolated to the above intersection," say police.

No suspect information is available, say police, and anyone with information is urged to call authorities at 703-792-6500.
