Now we don’t want to speak too soon, but Love Island's Ovie Soko is slowly becoming our favourite contestant this year. Between his '90s movies quotes, incredible facial expressions, and all-round 'living his best life on an all-inclusive holiday' attitude, we've completely fallen for the guy. (Oh and he's not exactly awful to look at, either).

But while Ovie is providing a bit of comic relief in a villa that is FULL of drama, he is also not afraid to show his more vulnerable side to the cameras. Cue everyone in the UK wanting to give the guy a hug.

Earlier this week, the basketball player broke down in tears over the departure and evection of fellow Casa Amor friend George Rains. And the whole thing was heartbreaking to watch.

Ovie tried to save George, stating that he'd be “basically by myself” if he left, but partner Anna Vakili was determined to give the villa lifeline to Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard. The whole thing led to viewers hitting out at Anna's lack of compassion and 'heartless' behaviour in not to supporting Ovie's decision.

When it came to making their announcement, Anna said, “Particularly the guy [George] is very close friends with Ovie, but...”, which is when Ovie began to cry, overcome with emotion.

Anna was oblivious and asked Molly-Mae Hague, “Oh is he crying?”, to which she responded that he was clearly “upset” and even Lucie seemed a little moved.

Trying to brush off the fact he was devastated by the prospect of friend George leaving, he quickly shook it off and said, “I’m cool man, I’m cool, I’m cool”.

Naturally fans took to Twitter to support Ovie showing some real emotion.

One thing's for sure Ovie, you're not alone <3
