Woman takes out mailbox, bird feeder and tree with Jeep (PHOTOS)

Warren County woman was taken to an area hospital after a crash Friday evening that took out a for-sale sign, mailbox, bird feeder and a tree, according to police.

Carly Thompson, 21, lost control of a Jeep Wrangler about 6 p.m. while headed west on Springtown Road in the Washington Township, police Lt. John Kaufmann said.

Thompson, a township resident, left the road near Rosewood Lane and caused the property damage, Kaufmann said.

She was taken by the Washington Emergency Squad to St. Luke's Hospital in Phillipsburg.

Police were continuing to investigate the crash and what caused Thompson to lose control. There were no other vehicles involved, police said.

A township public works crew responded to remove the tree, which was blocking a lane on the road. The Jeep was towed from the scene.

The Washington Township Fire Department also responded to the crash.
