Viral sensation Andrew Caldwell and welterweight boxer Adrien Broner engaged in a messy feud on social media this week. With talks of exposing receipts and threats of violence mentioned throughout the spat, Caldwell took matters into his own hands.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Caldwell filed for a restraining order after Broner uploaded a video on social media threatening to “shoot” gay men who pursued him.

A judge ruled that Caldwell’s fear was “reasonable” following the explicit video and required Broner to stay at least 500 yards away from him, the online site reports. In addition, the judge ruled they must refrain from posting about each other on social media. The Jasmine Brand also reports a hearing to extend the order is scheduled for April 1.

The drama between the two men allegedly began after Broner posted a series of Instagram pictures, accusing Caldwell of flirting with him in his direct messages.

He wrote,  "A @andrew_c_caldwell if you don't get out my inbox before I punch the testosterone out yo GAY A**," in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Broner captioned the post, "These n****s bold as f**k! I guess I don't do enough gangsta s**t no more smh for respect you got to shoot a n***a get a n***a shot every week."

Caldwell, who gained notoriety after a clip of him saying he was “delivered” from homosexuality went viral in 2014, claimed the two men engaged in casual conversation for months.
