K-pop girlband BLACKPINK took to the stage at Coachella on Friday night and it’s fair to say their performance was, well… fire.

Fans have been desperately waiting to see them strut their stuff at the Palm Springs festival, with even Ariana Grande admitting they were top on her list to watch over the weekend.

And if the Twitter reaction is anything to go by, BLACKPINK certainly didn’t disappoint.

As they brought their moves and delivered hits such as Kill This Love, it was fan-girling central across social media and the girls supporters totally lost it.

There were the OG BLACKPINK fans that thought the girlband ‘straight up owned Coachella’ with their set.

‘BLACKPINK! THEY ARE LITERALLY ON FIRE,’ one said.

Others tweeted: ‘THE WHOLE COACHELLA CROWD BETTER BE BLACKPINK STANS NOW AFTER WATCHING THIS LIVE

‘This is really a blackpink event only i love them..i wish i was there.

‘THE WAY BLACKPINK STRAIGHT UP OWNS COACHELLA NOW OH MY GOD #BLACKPINKinCOACHELLA

‘DO YALL SRE THE STAGE COLORS?’ THE DIAMONDS?! THE CAMERA WORK???? BLACKPINK ARE DELIVERING A MILLION DOLLAR PERFORMANCE.’

Then there were those fans that found the whole thing pretty emotional.

‘blackpink said blackpink is a revolution and honestly??? they are,, they really are i’m emo,’ tweeted one fan.

Another agreed: ‘Wtf why is watching the stream of blackpink at coachella making me cry.’

There were the fans that weren’t surprised BLACKPINK’s performance was killer.

You see, they never thought any different: ‘BlackPink destroyed huh? Never in doubt.’

And then, of course, you had the fans that were just jumping on the BLACKPINK hype.

Finally counting themselves as one of the army: ‘I never liked Kpop but BLACKPINK IS KILLING IT BITCH.’

In the days leading up to their Coachella performance, BLACKPINK were seen smashing records as they dropped the video to their new track Kill This Love.

They drummed up a huge100 million YouTube views in just two days and 14 hours – beating the previous record held by Psy’s Gentleman.

And YouTube confirmed the track hit 56.7 million views in its first 24 hours – meaning the ladies just topped Ariana’s Thank U, Next when it comes to the biggest 24-hour debut.

As well as taking Coachella by storm, girlband BLACKPINK are set to head on tour that will bring them to the UK in May.
