Kristin Cavallari loves that Jay Cutler is the breakout star of ‘Very Cavallari’

Jay Cutler is the MVP of Kristin Cavallari’s E! show, “Very Cavallari.”

“I think we both really like hearing that Jay is the breakout star!” Cavallari recently told Page Six. “I think for both of us it’s been really nice to have people finally get to see his real personality and get to see how funny is because I mean that’s why I love him. Because he’s so funny.”

“Jay would never be like, ‘Oh, I’m so happy that people are taking such a liking to me,’” she added, giving us her best sarcastic Cutler impersonation. “But I know that deep down it’s got to feel good.”

While reality star Cavallari has always been in the spotlight with her personality shining through on shows like “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills,” Cutler is better known for his on-field performance. His personal life started to make for good TV when his retirement plans became a storyline during Season 1 of “Very Cavallari.”

Now, the couple’s move to their farm is a storyline on the show’s second season.

“I — no — if you would have asked me in high school or in my early twenties, you know, ‘Can you see yourself living on a farm in your thirties?’ I would say absolutely not,” Cavallari told us. “But I have to say it feels very very great. I mean it feels like home and it just feels right. And I really love having the balance of both farm life and being able to go to L.A., New York and kind of have that craziness a little bit. So the farm really does ground me. My favorite animals honestly are my chickens because I love their eggs. We eat eggs all the time and I honestly think that they taste a lot better. They taste different and they’re just they’re just cool. They just like cruise around the yard. They’re always just hanging out. “

Cutler, 35, and Cavallari, 32, tied the knot in 2013 and share three children: Camden, 6, Jaxon, 4, and Saylor, 3.  Their children have not made their TV debuts yet, as Cavallari likes to shield them away from the spotlight.

“Very Cavallari” airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on E!
