Dan Mullen to open Florida spring practice to fans

Florida coach Dan Mullen announced, via a release, the first two Florida spring practices will be open to the public.

The open practices are set for March 16 and 17.
 
Times of each practice will be announce at a later date.
 
The Gators also announced Florida will hold its Pro Day on March 28.

"We are going to give you a football team, I promise you, that you can be proud of both on the field on Saturdays and in the community,'' Mullen said late last month, per the release. "Our guys are working their tail off right now to live up to what we know the 'Gator Standard' is."

Spring practice will end with Florida's annual spring game, which is free. The game is set for April 14 at 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. central).

Mullen agreed to a six-year contract that will pay him $6 million per year back in November when he was hired away from Mississippi State. Mullen was making $4.5 million per year Starkville, where he coached the last nine years.

Last month, Mullen added former Auburn assistant Greg Knox and former Alabama assistant Sal Sunseri to the Gators coaching staff.
