T-Blazers oust Clippers; Pacers, Heat in Game 7
FOOTBALL powerhouse Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) snatched two titles in the “FutBohol Sa Kabataan 2016” held last April 23-24 at the VDT Advance Learning Center football pitch in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
SHS-AdC’s under-15 boys squad thrashed hometown team Tagbilaran City FC, 3-0, in the championship match while its under-12 boys team defeated Freun FC also with the same score underscoring the Cebuanos’ dominance of the event.
In the girls-under 15 division, Cebu-based Warshocks FC shocked highly favored Holy Name University (HNU) FC, 1-0, in the finals while its under-17 girls squad drubbed Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School (DCPNHS), 5-0 for the crown.
Completing the dominance of the Cebuanos was Real Galaxy FC which trounced Tagbilaran City FC, 2-1, to rule the boys under-17 division.
The tournament was organized by the Bohol Football Association (BOHFA) headed by President Edmar Thadeus Simpao.
