Former Dakota Wesleyan University quarterback Jon Bane has signed a deal with the Bismarck Bucks of the Championships Indoor Football League.

After finishing his career with the Tigers, Bane also played professionally for Richmond Raiders and the Tampa Bay Storm.

Bane was a three-time all-conference quarterback for the Tigers and a 2011 All-American. He finished his career as DWU's all-time leading passer with 9,224 yards.

The Bucks are an expansion team of the Champions Indoor Football League. They will begin their season on March 4 at the Sioux City Bandits.
