THE CEBU Ultrarunners Club (CUC) continued to extend its helping hand by delivering more chairs and conducting a feeding program at the Tapul Elementary School in Talisay City last Saturday.

Like in the previous charitable program, members of CUC ran eight kilometers from the Talisay City Hall to the school to deliver the chairs.

The group has now delivered half of the hundred chairs donated to the school through the efforts of the Rotary Club of Cebu.

More runners joined last Saturday, according to CUC President Tony Galon, as members from the Talisay City Runners Club (TCRC) and Infinitea Runners Club also participated.

CUC also conducted a fun run last Sunday to help fellow runner Robert Labra, who is suffering from stage four cancer.

According to Galon, the running event that started at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) and finished at Labra’s house in Fegueroa Street in Cebu City, aims to raise funds to help defray the latter’s medical expenses.
