Discoveries Of The Week: A BMW Bike, New Threads And A Shot Glass Card

Seven New Products You Should Be Blowing Your Money On This Week

Every week AskMen is on the lookout for the best new products you can spend your hard-earned cash on. Check out some of the best picks below.

MB&F LM 101 Frost

Why it's awesome: Though it's pretty subtle by famously "out-there" MB&F's standards, the "Frost" addition adds a textured, uneven gold dial to their existing LM101 model to make the whole thing shine and catch the light better. There's only 18 of these yellow gold, and 33 in red gold. No price listed, but if you have to ask...

BMW Cruise M-Bike Limited Edition

Why it's awesome: BMW's Cruise M-Bike have been a favorite of car and bike enthusiasts for their performance, sleek design and (if you're a Bimmer nerd) colors that match the M-Series of cars. This one uses the Austin Yellow Metallic paint color of the BMW M GmbH. You'll have a bit of trouble getting your hands on this puppy — there's only 500 being made, and sent to specific BMW retailers. If you want the M-Bike in other colors, you can grab a (more easily available one) here. No price listed for this model, but an M-Bike usually runs about $1200.

SideClick

Why it's awesome: It helps cut down on the amount of remotes you have to deal with, which is always a plus.

Streaming services like Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and others are becoming more widespread. But you usually have one remote for the streaming service, and one for the TV you're playing it on. This is a simple snap-on attachment to the side that makes it so that you can control basic TV functions like power and volume without reaching for another remote. From $20.

Daily Paper Spring 2015 Collection

Why it's awesome: The Daily Paper headed to Morocco to get inspiration for their 2015 collection, from both Arab and Berber fabrics and patterns. From $60.

Trillium Hammock

Why it's awesome: If you're planning on going camping this summer, this could let a few of you sleep above the possibly wet forest floor, and even set up multi-storey camping arrangements underneath a tarp. $250.

Shot Glass Card

Why it's awesome: It's a card that converts into a shot glass. Nothing more needs to be said. $5.

GasWatch

Why it's awesome: For years, I'd come from a long day of work, kick back on the balcony with a beer and try to unwind after a gruelling and emotionally draining 11-hour day of finding Discoveries. As much as I'd try to relax, I'd see my stupid, stupid propane tank next to the barbecue in the corner, and be filled with anger.

I'd scream at it, shake it and kick it, demanding "Why can't you just be smart? Why aren't you more like my phone, computer, fridge or even lightswitches now?!" And then I'd collapse to the ground with tears slowly streaming down my face, shuddering with rage and shame at my impotence in connecting with an inert, uncommunicating inanimate object.

Well those days are over, thanks to the GasWatch! This scale tells you exactly how much propane is left in your tank, so you never run out halfway through a cookout or bring a tank back when it's a quarter-full again. It even connects to your smartphone to give you that info more conveniently. The new campaign launches on April 22 on IndieGogo. From $30.
