Body Found In Charles River

A body has been recovered near the Massachusetts Avenue bridge.

BOSTON, MA – Police have identified the man whose body was recovered late Friday afternoon from the Charles River, but they may not release his name. The body was recovered near the Massachusetts Avenue bridge connecting Boston and Cambridge.

The death appears to be a non-homicide and foul play is not suspected, the Suffolk County DA's office said, so the man's name was not be released.

Police have been searching in the area for a missing Lexington man in recent days, but there is no indication the body belongs to that man.
