The New Zealand rugby team adopted the practice of performing the intimidating pre-match dance known as the Haka in 1905. It’s a tribal war chant kinda thing, which seems extremely appropriate before dudes are about to beat the living crap out of one another on the rugby field. Today, the New Zealand national basketball team performed the Haka on court before their game against the United States. Spoiler: Team USA won the game 98-71, and Derrick Rose and James Harden looked more confused than terrified during the pre-match ritual.
