    Johnny Depp and Keith Richards

On Facebook Sarah Billingham said: "Definitely David Bowie in Labyrinth, love that film and his performance so much!"

Greg Evans agrees. And so do we. Great shout team.

Mark Briarty votes Elvis Presley, while Christopher Mitchell thinks that "Tom Waits did alright." Another great set of shouts guys but in WHICH films?!

  5. Axl Rose joins Bill Joel for ACDC cover at Dodger Stadium

Now, you need a pair of big hitters in any top baseball team and there were certainly two on show in LA this weekend.

That's as piano man Billy Joel's tour took him to the Dodger Stadium on Saturday night, where Guns 'N Roses and sometime AC/DC frontman Axl Rose was on hand to lend his vocal cords.

Between them, they've had plenty of hits of their own but they came together for a rendition of the Aussie band's Highway to Hell.

Check out the duo's innings above.

  6. Camila Cabello gets confessional in new album announcement

    Camila Cabello

Former Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello has revealed her solo album will be released on 19 May under the snappy title The Hurting, the Healing, the Loving.

In a lengthy tweet - well a 140 character-appropriate tweet linking to a MUCH longer blog - she said the record "is the story of my journey from darkness into light".

    View more on twitter

There is nothing that refers directly to her acrimonious split from her group Fifth Harmony, though she does write about being on a bathroom on tour and being "completely broken" in the kind of pain that "is uncomfortable to talk about".

"To see it that first time, sitting back with Nick was devastating, he said. "But also fascinating to watch as a third person from the outside looking in."

Scots post-rockers Mogwai shared their newest track on 6 Music at the weekend and it precedes a new album which is coming out in September.

Coolverine, which you can hear above, is a suitably dreamy soundscape as well as being a cool Marvel-based pun

  9. Not to everyone's taste? Katy Perry video gets a basting...

    Vulture

    Katy Perry

Katy Perry's latest song Bon Appetit may not have been to everyone's taste and the new slightly NSFW new video also seems to have divided eaters...we mean fans.

It sees the singer being floured, basted and boiled ahead of a cannibal fest.

Vulture has picked out some of the tastiest nuggets from the video in GIF form.

Still the controversy hasn't done it any harm more than 22m hits and counting...

Katy has also announced a new album, which is her follow-up to 2013’s Prism.

Witness (that explains her Met ball get-up below) will be out on 9 June and she will be playing dates across the US.

Last week we told you about the Pink Floyd, Their Mortal Remains exhibition at the V & A museum in London.

Well Radio 2 DJ Johnnie Walker must've been reading as he took a trip there this weekend and got a tour from curator and Hipgnosis's Aubrey 'Po' Powell.

  11. Haim and Black Key Dan Auerbach perform on US chat shows

    Haim

We love a good chat show but in America they REALLY love a chat show.

There's roughly three million (ish) of them each night and this weekend saw performances from Californian sisters Haim and Dan Auerbach of Ohio bluesy-rockers The Black Keys.

Haim appeared as the musical guests on Saturday Night Live on... erm... well you know when.

They played two tracks from their forthcoming new album Something To Tell You, including Want You Back which you can watch below.

The Black Keys frontman appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert the night before, to plug his new solo album Waiting On A Song.

  12. 'Avril Lavigne is dead' conspiracy theory gathers pace

    Avril Lavigne

Okay, this next story is not - repeat - not, a joke.

A widespread conspiracy theory that Avril Lavigne is actually dead and has been replaced by a lookalike has resurfaced with more than 370,000 mentions of her name on Twitter in the last 24 hours.

The Canadian's debut single Complicated was released 14 years ago yesterday, which probably explains the fresh spike in online interest.

The theory suggests that the singer died in 2002 and that lookalike Melissa Vandella was been impersonating her ever since.

    View more on twitter

Some claim this is the reason for her massive style shift from rock chick to bubblegum pop star, that there are inconsistencies in moles and skin blemishes between the two and that "Avril Lavigne would never promote a slim secret bar."

It's one helluva claim. Over to you Melissa, We mean Avril.

  15. Lana Del Rey compares Coachella to Woodstock in new song

    Lana Del Rey

"I was at Coachella, swinging on your shoulder, watching your husband swing in time."

Who on earth could Lana Del Rey be talking about in the wordd to her new track Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind.

It's the same song that a 'tired and emotional' singer shared a snippet of, on her way home from the festival in California.

At the time, she said it was after "watching tensions with North Korea mount."

There seems to be suggestion that she would trade of her fame and fortune for some kind of spiritual enlightenment.

    Wouldn't we all Lana...

  16. Introducing Sir Paul the pirate...

    View more on twitter

Legendary Beatle Sir Paul McCartney is set to follow in Rolling Stone Keith Richards footsteps by appearing in the forthcoming Pirates of the Caribbean film: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

He revealed how his swashbuckling character will look on social media on Saturday, in a picture captioned #PiratesLife.

Fellow 60s rock 'n' roller Richards played Jack Sparrow's dad Captain Teague in a previous film.

    Question:

Why are all these ageing rock stars being cast as pirates?

    Answer:

    They just aarrrrrrrrr....

  17. KRS-One apologies for Beastie Boys gaffe

    KRS-One

Rap legend KRS-One has sent his "sincere apologies" to Beastie Boy Adam 'Ad-Rock' Horovitz after mistakenly adding him to the lyrics of a new track about rap heroes who have died.

"I mistakenly paid respect and condolences to the wrong Beastie Boy member King Ad-Rock when it should have been MCA," he wrote on Twitter, adding "I accept all responsibility for this error".

Adam MCA Yauch died of cancer in 2012.

KRS blamed the mistake on how fast the song was recorded: "My lyrics are mostly freestyle and off the top of my head" he said.

He added the song, Hip Hops Speaks from Heaven, will be removed from the album's digital release.

  18. Harry Styles covers Kanye in first ever UK solo gig

    Harry Styles

Fresh off the back of his debut solo album being released on Friday (we've a feeling Kasabian will have a short reign on the album chart throne) Harry Styles announced a secret gig at the Garage in north London.

    Harry Styles fans

His album's had some decent, if not rave reviews but could he carry off his first full solo performance on these shores without the backing of his three other (four if you count Zayn) 1D bandmates?

In a gushing five-star review, The Telegraph praise his interaction with the fans who paid £10 for the first come, first served tickets: "It’s this combination of charm, ease, flamboyance, and an actually very good singing voice, that sets Styles apart from his former bandmates and many of his peers."

In a slightly less enthusaistic review, the Guardian says of the songs: "Woman is a loping, Benny and the Jets-style stomper; the limp Two Ghosts is beige Beck; while an unexpected cover of Kanye West’s Ultralight Beam sees all the original’s gospel uplift deflated by Kings of Leon dad-rock posturing. More often than not, he’s also stuck behind an over-sized guitar (the ex-boyband members’ weapon of choice in today’s authenticity wars."

However, it praised "a rousing, uplifting finale".

  19. Kasabian end Ed's chart dominion

    Kasabian

We thought the day would never come...

...but after nine weeks at the top, chart-slayer Ed Sheeran has been cut down to size by Kasabian.

Their fifth studio album For Crying Out Loud went straight in at number one, having finished last week with 5,000 combined chart sales more than young Edward.

Speaking to the OfficialCharts.com, Serge Pizzorno thanked the fans.

"It’s absolutely incredible to have five Number one albums in a row. Thanks to everyone who has supported us. We can’t wait to play the new tracks on the road this summer."

That includes Radio 1's Big Weekend in Hull in a less than two weeks.

    Luis Fonsi

In the singles charts Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee secured their first UK number one - with a little help from Justin Bieber.

The remix of Despacito amassed 31,000 downloads and 6.2 million streams to clinch the Official Singles Chart top spot this week.

If in doubt, call up the Biebs...

    Justin Bieber

The track, sung mostly sang in Spanish is the first foreign language UK #1 since Gangnam Style by South Korea’s Psy in 2012.

Sak Noel's Ibiza banger Loca People was the last Spanglish hit to top the singles charts over here.

Here's a rather chuffed Luis below.

  20. Eurovision: Portugal win, gorillas, flashers & marriage proposals

    Salvador Sobral

Fresh off the back of their Euro 2016 success (ask your football fan friend) Portugal won the Eurovision Song Contest for the first ever time.

Salvador Sobral won with a love ballad Amar Pelos Dois (For the Both of Us) written by his sister.

Imagine Moon River but sang in Portuguese and you're halfway there.

The 27-year-old said on receiving the trophy: "We live in a world of fast food music. This is a victory for music... music isn't fireworks, music is feeling."
