Mass. Fireworks July 4 2016: Latest Updates and Schedule

Your guide to the local firework celebrations in Massachusetts near you today.

There are more fireworks displays than Boston's big Esplanade extravaganza so Patch has compiled a full guide for Fourth of July (and yes, Founders' Day) celebrations all across Massachusetts. And remember, New Hampshire towns know a thing or two about fireworks, too.

The weather looks to be gorgeous right through the 4th and beyond, with temps only in the low 80s and the humidity certainly bearable. So with that in mind, there is almost no excuse to not enjoy a fireworks display near you.

Whether your holiday weekend includes cookouts, some nap time or lounging in front of the television with some sports, there's no escaping the fireworks.

You can use the 4th of July Fireworks guide here or just look up when it gets to be dark. Shows are planned all over the state and our handy guide should give you a good indication of a great show near you along with other necessary information you may need. And be sure to consult the MBTA holiday schedule if you plan on taking public transportation.

We hope you enjoy the holiday and make it out to one of these great shows.
