Wegmans Coming To Reston: Report
The grocery chain reportedly is looking at a 23-acre site near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station.
RESTON, VA — Upscale grocery chain Wegmans is seeking to open a store near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station, according to a report.
The Washington Business Journal reports that the Rochester, N.Y.-based chain is looking at buying a 23-acre site at Association and Sunrise Valley drives for the new store, and it is also looking at an additional site three miles west nearer to the future Herndon Metro Station as a backup plan.
The primary site is home to the Association Drive office park, which has 12 low-rise buildings and has been offered up for sale by Fraser Forbes Real Estate. It is situated about a quarter mile from the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station.
