Exclusive screenings of 'Batman: The Killing Joke' at theaters nationwide July 25, 26

The animated feature, 'Batman: The Killing Joke,' will screen at theaters nationwide July 25 and 26 for two showings per day. The screenings are presented by Fathom Events.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Fresh off the heels of its July 22 premiere at the

, exclusive showings of the animated feature,

will screen at theaters nationwide July 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.

This two-night special is presented by Fathom Events. Due to popular demand, the July 26 screenings were recently added.

Featuring the vocal talents of Mark Hamill, Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong and Akron native, Ray Wise, this animated feature is Rated R, and based on the 1988 graphic novel of the same name by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland.

The screening will include a short documentary on actor Mark Hamill and his longstanding devotion to this project.

"Batman: The Killing Joke" has become the largest Fathom Events screening ever, to be shown on more than 1,000 screens nationwide. Advance tickets can be purchased through the Fathom website.

Locally, the film will screen at most Regal Cinemas and Cinemark Theaters.

"Batman: The Killing Joke" will be released on Blu-ray August 2.
