Obviously, it's not actually a real paperclip but a polished sterling silver money clip, embossed with the brand's logo. It's also 6.25cm x 2.25cm, which to be fair, is on the large size for a paperclip...

And the good news is it couldn't be easier to get the designer look for less (😂) – Ryman is selling 120 similar-sized paperclips for £5.99. Bargain. Although you might be able to pick a few up for free at the office.

Prada itself seems to fully acknowledge the resemblance, given that it has actually called it 'Paperclip-shaped Money Clip'.

Understandably, Twitter went into meltdown as soon as news broke about the $185 (£140) accessory, The Metro reports:
