One of the top junior college prospects is back on the board.
Javon Kinlaw, a 6-foot-6, 305-pound defensive lineman from Jones County (Miss.) Junior College, decommitted from South Carolina on Monday night.
Kinlaw, a four-star recruit in the 247Sports composite, had 26 tackles and 4.5 sacks in eight games.
Alabama offered Kinlaw, who is set to finish his junior college work in the spring and have three years of eligibility at the next stop. With the Crimson Tide losing several key defensive linemen off this year's team, this position is a premium going forward.
Kinlaw was a U.S. Army All-American out of Goose Creek, S.C., in the class of 2016.
He was set to visit Alabama for its game against Texas A&M, but an injury prevented that from happening.
"I am interested in Alabama because of who they are and because they offered me out of high school," Kinlaw told AL.com at the time. "I still need to get to the school so I can really tell you how I feel."
Alabama offered earlier this fall. Since then, schools such as Louisville, Maryland and Tennessee have offered.
Kinlaw announced his decommitment from the Gamecocks to weigh his options and see what's best "for me and my family's future."
