Nick Jonas gave fans a huge surprise today: He rereleased his solo album, Nick Jonas X2, for all to hear!

Rumors of this wonderful surprise had been swirling since the summer, when many thought the former Jonas Brothers member would repackage his self-titled solo debut with remixes of some of his hits. He might not have released it then, but he has now! And he also gave fans an even bigger present: He made it available to stream on Spotify.

Unlike Adele, who intentionally didn't allow her new album, 25, to stream on either Spotify or Apple Music, Nick opted to let his album stream, which means anyone with an account—premium or not—can listen to his wonderful vocals without having to buy it. Thank you, Nick!

Adele has had issues with streaming her music in the past. Her 2011 album 21, for example, was held for 18 months before it was released to Spotify users so as to help album sales (in theory). Although Adele hasn't commented officially on her decision to withhold her music from streaming services, a rep for Spotify confirmed to E! News that it wouldn't be hitting its waves.

But now that we have something to turn to on our computers and mobile apps, we can closely examine what Nick has given us. Based on the track list, the rereleased version features 10 new songs, including "Levels," "Area Code" and the Tinashe remix of "Jealous."

He will also be following up his debut album with another record that's slated to be released "at some point early next year," according to Entertainment Weekly.

"'Levels' is a good introduction to the next step," Jonas told the magazine. "I think [the album will] go even a bit further with some more soul and R&B sounds, even hip hop influences in there. I'm really just digging deep."

In addition to his new album, Nick will also be going on tour with Demi Lovato. Get the scoop.
