In a year that's seen the loss of so many beloved celebrities, Betty White is still looking spry and going strong (thank goodness!). The Hollywood icon turned 95 today, and to celebrate, she sat down with Yahoo's Katie Couric and a stuffed sloth that the news anchor gave her as a gift.

First of all, look at Betty's reaction to this stuffed sloth.

Look how much Betty loves it!

In fact, it's precisely this childlike affection that keeps her so young at heart. It turns out Betty had a large collection of stuffed animals, and she particularly loves this one because it closely resembles a real sloth she fell in love with at the Wildlife Learning Center in Slymar, California.

"I'm a little strange for stuffed animals. I'm a little strange for any kind of animals. Except possibly the two-legged kind," she said.

Betty's advice for living a long and meaningful life was straight and simple:

"First of all, keep busy. And don't focus everything on you, that wears out pretty fast. It's not hard to find things you're interested in, but enjoy them and indulge them, and I think that can keep you on your toes."

Betty also shared some of the most important lessons she's learned in her life. The first lesson, of course, is to love everything around you that deserves it. The second is to be grateful every day, and to milk what you have for whatever its worth.

The third is to not indulge in regrets. When asked if there's anything she knows at 95 that she wished she knew at 25, she said that everybody does, but at the end of the day, "I've been married three times, and I probably still would have been married three times, even if I knew what I know now."

Most importantly, always maintain your sense of humor, because that's what keeps you young.

While remembering her beloved late husband, Allen Ludden, who passed away in 1981, Betty got serious as she spoke about the man she called the love of her life. But when Katie asked her if she ever thought about remarrying, she responded with her trademark wit.

"Remarry? No. Fool around, sure," she laughed. "I'm the luckiest old broad on two feet."

And we're lucky to have you, Betty!
