Kevin Durant has emerged from his insular shell of late, using Twitter in a humorous fashion and showing more of his personality after winning that elusive chip with the Golden State Warriors this year. The custom of championship teams getting invited to the White House is usually a high honor, but the Prince George’s County superstar says his lack of respect for President Donald Trump would keep him away.

ESPN writes:

Kevin Durant says he will not visit President Donald Trump at the White House if the NBA champion Golden State Warriors are invited.

“Nah, I won’t do that,” said Durant, the 2017 NBA Finals MVP. “I don’t respect who’s in office right now.”
