Harrison Ford has recovered from his plane crash and is already looking forward to new projects, so his accident hasn't slowed him down at all.

"I'm doing great," he said on Good Morning America Tuesday. "I'm back playing tennis, riding my bikes and having a good time."

But it wasn't just a plane crash that got in the way of Ford's career this year; he also suffered an accident on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While working on the Millennium Falcon, someone accidentally shut he door on him, but fortunately the 73-year-old star has a sense of humor about the whole ordeal.

"My left leg was broken, and then I waited about six months before I broke my right leg," he joked. Thankfully he finished filming and has even been lucky enough to see the film it its entirety. So what does he have to say about the highly anticipated installment?!

"It's a really big movie," he said, mentioning that it's production value is through the roof. "I was delighted to see it."

Sorry, fans. If you were looking for any more details, you won't be getting any! But Ford famously said he was "relieved" to be hanging up the Han Solo costume, so what made him come back this time?

"A really good script," he admitted. "An opportunity to work with J.J. [Abrams], who I admire. It just seemed like a good idea."

Although he wouldn't reveal any big information about the new movie, he did give some insight about his reprised role, which will show a different side of Han Solo. "I think he's got a more complex story now—a little bit more of an emotional context than perhaps there was before," Ford explained, "but he's still the same guy."

He also revealed a couple of fun facts about his introduction into the franchise: He didn't have to audition and he also was paid $1,000 per week to play the role. Obviously, his salary increased in the subsequent films. Looking back, however, he said he never expected the excitement to be higher than ever.

"I'm surprised and obviously delighted. The genius of these films, the luck of these films is that they've been passed on from generation to generation," he said. "Many generations of these films have been introduced to them by their parents, and so it's a family experience and it's really kept them alive."

As for his future goals, Ford told both Good Morning America and Live! With Kelly and Michael that he is interested in bringing back another one of his famous characters.

"I would love to do another Indiana Jones and work with Steven [Spielberg] again," he dished, "and if we get a script I'd love to do it."

He also told co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan that he has always been interested in reprising the role. "I'd be delighted if they get a good script. That's always been the hard part, but the willingness to do it has always been there."
