A lot of us have a great love for fried chicken. The crisp coating of a breaded wing or thigh brings joy to many people’s taste buds.
But it’s now being claimed that fried chicken can actually help you find love. Someone get us a bucket meal NOW.
This is what new dating app Hinge reckon anyway. They surveyed 8,000 of their members across five US cities and asked what kind of first dates would lead to a second.
The most popular type of first date was drinks, with 37 per cent saying it would lead to date number two. If you're interested, a Bloody Mary came out as the top drink to order.
But the most satisfying result was that 24 per cent claimed an outing for fried chicken made them want to see a first date again. Meaning a love of deep fried poultry could be the key to lasting love.
We knew the candlelit dinner was dead. This generation just want a 12 piece family bucket meal and a side of gravy for romance.
