Rob Gronkowski made a brief cameo during Sean Spicer’s daily press briefing at the White House on Wednesday. It provided a rare moment of humor for the President’s press secretary.
While answering a reporter’s question, Spicer suddenly turned to his right to answer the surprising appearance of Gronkowski. The Patriots were visiting the White House after winning Super Bowl LI.
“Sean, you need some help?” Gronkowski asked. Spicer, a Patriots fan, replied “I think I got this, but thank you.”
It cut short what might have been yet another Saturday Night Live moment in a Trump administration press briefing. Thanks to Spicer, we’ll never know what Gronkowski answering questions about foreign policy actually looks like.
