LINDEN -- The New Jersey Turnpike outer lanes near Interchange 12 were closed Wednesday morning as the State Police investigates a suspicious package found on a bus.
The suspicious package on a Coach USA bus was reported at 9:06 a.m., State Police said. The passengers were removed from the bus and boarded another bus to continue to their destination, said Trooper Lawrence Peele.
All outer lanes are closed. Northbound traffic is jammed for nine miles, according to Turnpike officials.
