What’s new on Netflix UK in March 2019?

Binging season is here...

Netflix‘s library is getting bigger and better every month with more and more originally commissioned films, series and documentaries. In recent weeks, team NME have been binging on The Umbrella AcademyRussian DollSex EducationYou and, of course, the Fyre Festival documentary.

What’s coming up for you to add to your watch list? Here’s what you can expect to arrive on Netflix in the UK during March 2019.

The highlights:

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 (8 March)

There was a time recently where Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans worried that they may never get another season of the show after Fox cancelled the series. However, after being picked up by rival network NBC, the show has been given a new lease of life. Season 6 just started on US TV, but UK fans can catch up with Season 5 on Netflix from 8 March.

Queer Eye Season 3 (15 March)

Three seasons in, we pretty much know what to expect from Netflix’s Queer Eye revamp by now: laughter, tears and a lot of wholesome, heartwarming moments. But with the Fab Five heading to Kansas City in Season 3, key questions still remain. Like, what new amazing catchphrases will Jonathan come up with? And which indie band t-shirts will Antoni don this time round? We cannot wait to find out.

Arrested Development: Season 5B (15 March)

After its reuniting fourth season made fans wish the show had never been brought back at all, the first half of Arrested Development Season 5 was heralded as something of a return to form. With the second half of the season dropping this month, here’s to hoping that the groundbreaking US comedy (expected to end after these upcoming episodes) goes out with a bang.

Santa Clarita Diet: Season 3 (29 March)

A highlight for later in the month, Santa Clarita Diet has often been overlooked by the masses, despite its general critical acclaim. The basic premise consists of Drew Barrymore as a flesh-craving zombie living in American suburbia. What’s not to love about that?
