Currently in New Jersey, the median price of homes listed is $273,000 — though medians vary widely between counties. Whereas you might be able to afford a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom in Atlantic City at this price point, in Weehawken the same amount will only get you a 600-square-foot condo.

As spring open house season starts to heat up, here's a look at what potential buyers can purchase with $300,000 in each of New Jersey’s 21 counties.

Atlantic: 108 Liberty Ave, Atlantic City

This 2,338-square-foot home was built in 2003 just a few houses from the inlet beach in Atlantic City. It features three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, as well as a detached two-car garage.
