Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for president, fired up his Twitter account in the middle of the night last night to rant about Alicia Machado, a former Miss Universe whom he publicly shamed for weight gain 20 years ago.
Trump has spent a whole week attacking Machado, after Hillary Clinton told the model’s story at the debate. In the wee hours Trump claimed, inexplicably, that Machado appears in a sex tape. Which, for the record, does not appear to exist.

7 Clinton calls for service corps
Clinton proposed the creation of a national service “reserve” with millions of trained reservists nationwide who would be called up in the event of a natural disaster or to meet a public health need. “There is so much work to be done,” she said.
8 Trump planned comments on Mexicans in advance
In a deposition video released by courts on Friday, Trump says comments he made about Mexicans being rapists and criminals were planned in advance. He also claimed that what he had said was not “so bad” and that he had been misinterpreted.
