'It starts when the Barcelona job becomes available'

Spanish football expert Pete Jenson explained how Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho went from good friends to football enemies.

"It starts when the Barcelona job becomes available, and that's clearly Jose Mourinho's dream going back to the Nou Camp as the number one.

"He plans to appoint Guardiola as his number two, and it seems that he's got the job. The decision is practically made, and Joan Laporta who was the president at the time had pretty much made up his mind.

"In the final hour, there are a few voices who say 'maybe we should think about Guardiola. He's just got the B team promoted'," Jenson said.

Guardiola and Mourinho face each other for the first time in the Premier League as managers of the Manchester clubs on Sunday lunchtime.
