Warning: This article contains spoilers for Season 7, Episode 2 of Game of Thrones.

In episode two of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow and Littlefinger have an ominous—and then violent—confrontation in the crypts of Winterfell. Littlefinger notes that Jon Snow would have lost the Battle of the Bastards without his knights of the Vale—and oh yeah, he's in love with Sansa, just like he was in love with Catelyn Stark.

The conversation didn't go well—and ended with Jon Snow slamming Littlefinger against the wall, choking him. "Touch my sister, and I'll kill you myself," Jon warns.

Insider points out that the moment bore a striking resemblance to how another member of the Stark family dealt with Littlefinger. In the show's first season, Ned Stark throws Baelish against a wall and starts to choke him, because he thinks he's lying about Catelyn being hidden in a brothel, as a way to insinuate his wife is a prostitute. But Catelyn then peeks out from inside the brothel, so Ned lets him go. "Oh, the Starks. Quick tempers, slow minds," Littlefinger quips.

But this time, the threat wasn't as light. Jon Snow has a lot of reasons to hate Littlefinger, after all. Baelish was the one who plotted to betray his father, which led to his execution. And he led Sansa to marry Ramsay Bolton, which ended in horrific trauma for Sansa. Now that Jon Snow is heading to Dragonstone, leaving Sansa in charge, it'll be fascinating to figure out Littlefinger's next move from here. As one Redditor points out, the last time he got slammed against a wall, he betrayed the man who did it and watched him die, and there's no guarantee he won't do the exact same thing this time.
