To anyone in their early 20s thinking their orgasms are the legit best, I hate to break it to you but according to a new study: you're wrong. Yes, you're probs more care-free, and chill, and less likely to live with the constant feeling of impending dread than those of us a little older than that do. But apparently, you're not prime orgasm age like most of us thought...

Contraceptive app Natural Cycles surveyed more than 2,600 women and found it's actually at 36 when we're having the best orgasms, feeling the most attractive and enjoying sex the most.

Measuring female sexuality on a range of categories including satisfaction (frequency of intercourse, satisfaction of partner), attraction (self-perceived and in the eyes of the partner) and orgasm (frequency and enjoyment), it revealed how women in different age groups rate their sex lives. Basically, sex gets better with age... and this is why.

The older women were the most confident in their own skin, whereas those under 36 (from 23 upwards) said they the least happy with how they looked (sob). While the youngest age group (23 and under) felt sexy and attractive, but had less intense / frequent orgasms. Only 76% of women below 36 said they'd had really enjoyable sex in the past four weeks, compared to 86% of women 36 and over.

We all seem obsessed with how much everyone else is doing it (guilty!), and now we know: under a third were banging twice a week, one fifth were having sex three times a week, and just under one fifth once a week.

So for the younger women among us: you've got SO much to look forward to. And to those a teeny bit older: things can only get better. We're all winners here.
