Authorities are investigating a shooting in Victory Gardens

VICTORY GARDENS -- The Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the N.J. State Police are investigating a shooting Saturday night in Victory Gardens.

Lt. Charles Brady of the prosecutor's office said in a short statement that, "due to the nature of the investigation," authorities will be giving out "no additional information" other than that there was a shooting and that "there is no current threat to the community."

Authorities ask that anyone with information about this incident should contact the Morris County Major Crimes Unit at (973) 285-6200 or the N.J. State Police-Netcong Barracks at (973) 347-1000.
