What with Blizzard recently cancelling its long-gestating MMO Project Titan, could a warm reception to these ports mean Warcraft IV creeps its way back onto the table? We've absolutely no idea, but it's nice to dream.
Although Titan was never technically announced, Blizzard co-founder and CEO Mike Morhaime revealed last month the project was cancelled because "We didn't find the fun. We didn't find the passion. We talked about how we put it through a reevaluation period, and actually, what we reevaluated is whether that's the game we really wanted to be making. The answer is no."
It had previously been overhauled in 2013. Luke Karmali is IGN UK News Editor. You too can revel in mediocrity by following him on Twitter.
