Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Are Having a Baby

After publicly revealing their struggle to conceive, model Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their first child together.

The couple, who tied the knot September 2013 in Lake Como, Italy, revealed the happy news on Instagram.

"John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now," the 29-year-old model and soon-to-be cookbook author wrote in a caption to a black-and-white photo of the pair nestled on a couch (below).

"It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx."

The "All of Me" singer, 36, shared the same sweet photo on Twitter and Instagram with a simple "We're pregnant!":

Last month Teigen opened up about her struggle to conceive on the daytime talk show FABlife, which she co-hosts with Tyra Banks.

"John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened," she said. "But my gosh, it's been a process."

No word on whether Teigen and Legend are expecting a boy or girl, but we hope their canine children, Puddy and Pippa, will welcome the little one with open paws. Congratulations to the parents-to-be!
