Drake's Views album has been out since last Thursday (April 28) and everyone is getting their respective takes in. Joe Budden, who hosts the "I'll Name This Podcast Later" podcast, put his critic hat on, too. In a promo Instagram vid for his next episode, an impassioned Budden praises Noah "40" Shebib for progressing while saying that Drake sounds uninspired.

"I think that that kid on that album that I heard sounds real fuckin' uninspired. That's what I think. I think that that music is real good. You can't fool a real nigga...That music sounds good and I enjoyed it...40, you sound amazing. 40 continues to progress. Drake, you do not."

The "Pump It Up" rapper posted another clip where he explains that he doesn't think the subject matter between So Far Gone and Views has changed and wonders why he now sounds so unenthusiastic about achieving all the goals he set when he first popped up on the scene.

You can hear the full hour-long version of the podcast below.

While the reviews for Drizzy's latest release have been lukewarm at best, it certainly hasn't affected his sales numbers. Early reports claim that in the first two days of the album's release, Views was streamed over 820,000 times between Canada and the United States. Even more impressive, Drake's smash hit "Hotline Bling" has been streamed more than 432 million times on Spotify since its release. It will be worth keeping an eye out if the Toronto rapper can knock off Beyonce's Lemonade album from the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart once the official numbers are released.
