Stopping Lamar Jackson just got tougher for the Jets.
Gang Green will likely be without Jamal Adams and Quinnen Williams for their primetime showdown in Baltimore on Thursday. Both players are officially listed as doubtful on the final injury report. Adams, who called himself a “gametime decision” on Tuesday, is in line to miss his second consecutive game with an ankle injury.
Williams is dealing with a neck stinger that caused him to leave last week’s win against the Dolphins. The rookie had a solid game before exiting.
Gregg Williams’ group will have its hands full with the league’s top-ranked rushing offense that is averaging an eye-opening 201 yards on the ground this season. The Jets will also be without physical slot cornerback Brian Poole, who will miss a second consecutive game with a concussion suffered in Cincinnati a couple weeks ago.
Tight end Ryan Griffin (ankle) and running back Bilal Powell (flu, ankle) have officially been ruled out. Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) is doubtful.
The 5-8 Jets are two-touchdown underdogs to the 11-2 Ravens, who are in line to get the top playoff seed in the AFC.
