I'm In A Five Door Mini Watching A Man Climbing Into Another One

The infamous Mini 5 had its world premier at the Paris Motor Show, and although it's not a big deal being only a larger Mini, I still took the time to experience the phenomenon.

Many of you are outraged by BMW's bloated new Mini variants, mostly because the larger they are, the less involving it is to drive them. While Fiat is doing roughly the same with the 500 family, what you want from Mini is something more like the Superleggera concept.

And they hear you, sort of. But while we wait for their trimmed down offerings, let's accept the fact that five (or four, depending on the market) door Minis are being built in the Netherlands as we speak, and that's because people do buy bloated compact cars with retro styling and BMW underpinnings.

Even if they are not that spacious at all.
