Suge Knight Murder Case Going to Trial, Rapper's Bail Reduced to $10 Million

UPDATE: E! News has learned that Dr. Dre and Ice Cube have been named in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the widow of the man who died after Suge Knight allegedly hit him with his truck.

Knight's murder case is going to trial.

Earlier today, L.A. Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen ruled that the 49-year-old rapper will stand trial on charges of murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run in the death of Terry Carter and the injuring of Cle "Bone" Sloan, According to Fox News. Knight hit the two men with his truck outside a Compton fast food joint before driving away on Jan. 23.

Knight's bail was also reduced from $25 million to $10 million. His arraignment is schedule for Apr. 30.

L.A. court reporter Matt Reynolds also tweeted from the courthouse earlier today, "#SugeKnight murder case to go to trial. Judge sets bail at $10M." He added, "'It was not an attempt to escape. It was an attempt to murder,' Judge Ronald Coen says."

Surveillance video of the deadly incident leaked last month. Knight's attorney argued that the footage proves Knight was attacked first before he ran over the two men.

Knight has pleaded not guilty on all counts.

Knight has had several health scares since being taken into custody on Jan. 29. He was hospitalized in February after suffering a blood clot.
