The folks over at TED are so funny.
They’ve dubbed Vanity Fair contributor Monica Lewinsky a “social activist” and say she’ll be giving a TED talk on March 19. The even will take place in Vancouver, Canada. She’ll speak between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. and will discuss her advocacy for a more compassionate social media environment.
The news was reported early Wednesday by The Hollywood Reporter.
Their description says she’ll obviously “draw from her unique experiences at the epicenter of a media maelstrom in 1998.”
(In other words, pssst…the year she had a sexual relationship with then-President Bill Clinton.)
Except nowhere in their description do the TED organizers say she had an affair with Clinton.
