Hopefully John Wick doesn’t have to worry about choosing any red or blue pills on his latest mission.

John Wick 2 will be the site of a Matrix reunion, as Laurence Fishburne was spotted filming on the Brooklyn set of the upcoming sequel by Gothamist, and his publicist confirmed his involvement in the sequel. Fisburne starred as Morpheus in The Matrix trilogy, introducing Keanu Reeves’ Neo to a whole new world. Neither Fishburne’s role in the Wick movie, nor the size of it, are known, but the actor is the latest name added to cast, which includes Ruby Rose and Common.

Since The Matrix films wrapped up in 2003, Fishburne has appeared in a number of film and TV roles, with recent roles including Man of Steel‘s Perry White, Jack Crawford on Hannibal, and as a star and executive producer on ABC’s black-ish.

Reeves may have also posted a shot of the two actors on set on an unverified Twitter account.

John Wick 2, which is directed by the first film’s co-director Chad Stahelski, will hit theaters in 2016. The first film proved to be a minor hit in 2014, grossing $43.0 million.
