Flurry of new store openings planned for Peterborough's Queensgate shopping centre

Jewellers Argento has announced that it is to open in the unit previously occupied by Pandora, which has moved to a larger unit close to Boots the Chemist.

A spokesman for Queensgate said that Argento was hoping to open for business in Queensgate by the end of April.

Pandora’s new unit will open on March 31.

Clothing chain New Look will open in the former H&M unit on Thursday.

In addition, fashion retailer Ann Summers will open its new store in Queensgate on Saturday after closing its current store in Bridge Street, Peterborough.

Details of the new openings have been announced as the owners of Queensgate embark on an £8 million facelift of the shopping centre, which is expected to be completed by November.
