National Signing Day 2016: Where The Top 25 Recruits Signed

25. DE Marlon Davidson: Auburn

It will be interesting to see if Davidson can get some early playing time for the Tigers. If he can, he would form a formidable tag team with last year's No. 1 overall recruit in the country Byron Cowart.

24. OL Jonah Williams: Alabama

If you watched Alabama's run to the title last season, the biggest advantage the Crimson Tide had on every other team was in the trenches. With Cam Robinson and Jonah Williams, Nick Saban will be continuing that trend in the future.

23. TE Isaac Nauta: Georgia

Prior to parting ways with Georgia, Miami head coach Mark Richt did a tremendous job with the Bulldogs' recruiting class which made things easier for Kirby Smart. Nauta has the skills to become the best tight end in the country.

22. WR Tyler Vaughns: USC

Vaughns will get to learn from Trojans stud receiver Juju Smith-Schuster which will be huge for his development.

21. DE Nick Bosa: Ohio State

Bosa followed in his brother Joey's footsteps and will attend Ohio State. There are a number of recruiting experts who believe that Nick will be better than Joey, who is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

20. DE Terrell Hall: Alabama

It shouldn't come as any surprise when Alabama locks down one of the top defensive linemen in the nation. Expect Hall to be in the NFL down the road.

19. DT Ed Oliver: Houston

Despite being rated as a five-star player, Oliver made the decision to attend Houston and play with his older brother. It was a huge development for Tom Herman and the future of the Cougars.

18. WR N'Keal Harry: Arizona State

Following in the footsteps of Jaelen Strong and Devin Lucien will be Harry, who is the No. 1 receiver in the country. At 6-foot-4, he could cause a number of matchup problems in the Pac-12.

17. DT Derrick Brown: Auburn

Brown was a huge get for Gus Malzahn. It was expected that he would commit to the Georgia Bulldogs on Signing Day, but he flipped to the Tigers.

16. LB Tre Lamar: Clemson

The Tigers finished with a tremendous recruiting class this year. With Lamar and a couple more players you'll see on this list, Clemson's defense will be scary for years to come.

15. DE Jeffrey Simmons: Mississippi State

Heading into National Signing Day, it was thought to be a lock that Simmons would commit to play for Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss. Instead, he shocked the nation and chose to play for Dan Mullen and the Bulldogs.

14. LB Caleb Kelly: Oklahoma

Kelly had offers from just about every major school in the country, but he chose to take his talents to Norman and play for Bob Stoops.

13. LB Erick Fowler: Texas

Fowler made one of the shocking decisions of the day when he announced that he was flipping his commitment from LSU to Texas. He will be a huge addition to Charlie Strong's defense.

12. CB Jack Jones: USC

Jones was one of the latest announcements yesterday afternoon when he chose to play for USC alongside Snoop Dogg.

11. ATH Mecole Hardman Jr.: Georgia

Georgia was the favorite to get Hardman all along, and he made things official on National Signing Day. Some experts believe he'll see time on both sides of the ball for the Bulldogs.

10. CB Levonta Taylor: Florida State

Ronald Darby, P.J. Williams, Jalen Ramsey and now Levonta Taylor. Jimbo Fisher knows how to develop defensive backs, and Taylor will be the next in succession.

9. LB Mique Juarez: UCLA

It was widely expected that Juarez would select UCLA when the time came and he did just that, making Jim Mora Jr. a happy man.

8. ATH Demetris Robertson: None

Robertson decided to hold off on making a decision on National Signing Day. He's taken official visits to Notre Dame, California and Georgia Tech, but Georgia and Alabama are also in the mix.

7. QB Jacob Eason: Georgia

If the Bulldogs would've had a decent quarterback last season, Mark Richt would likely still be the head coach. Eason nearly changed his mind and went to Florida when Richt left, but he decided to remain and play for Kirby Smart.

6. LB Rashaun Smith: Clemson

Dabo Swinney will be losing a number of defensive players this season, but he's replaced them with top defensive recruits such as Smith.

5. LB Ben Davis: Alabama

Dont'a Hightower, Reggie Ragland and Ben Davis is not a bad succession of middle linebackers for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

4. OL Gregory Little: Ole Miss

Laremy Tunsil leaves for the NFL Draft, and the Rebels bring in the top offensive tackle in the country Gregory Little to replace him.

3. QB Shea Patterson: Ole Miss

Hugh Freeze has the perfect situation set up at quarterback. Chad Kelly is returning for his senior season which will allow Patterson to sit for a season and learn.

2. DT Dexter Lawrence: Clemson

Although Dabo Swinney missed out on Rashan Gary, he was able to get Lawrence to sign on the dotted line to give the Tigers a top-five recruiting class.

The No. 1 recruit in the nation, Rashan Gary, committed to Michigan on National Signing Day. It was a huge get for Jim Harbaugh and his staff as Gary chose the Wolverines over the Clemson Tigers.
