A flash of 1920s' waves, a swipe of bold, red lipstick - the Oscars 2017 red carpet was full of singular make-up statements, as well as references to old, Hollywood glamour.
As well, there appeared to be several beauty nods to musical blockbuster, La La Land, with sleek updos and loose curls everywhere.
