Liam defends Zayn Malik against criticism from Noel, then offers forthright opinions on his brother’s new album

Any hope of an Oasis reunion looks further away than ever after a busy week of Liam Gallagher tweeting his disdain for brother Noel. His latest salvo came in response to Noel’s Rolling Stone interview, in which he said Zayn Malik was a “fucking idiot” for leaving the band, and passing up the money and pleasures that come with it.

“You can be fucking anything that moves and gettin’ paid half a million dollars a week, you fuckin’ idiot,” Noel had told Rolling Stone. “You want to be a normal 22-year-old?”

“Hey NG leave those 1D kids alone,” Liam tweeted on Thursday. But that was just the start. “Just coz you have a SAXAPHONE on your new record and you think your all Pink Floyd,” he added. “Everybody knows your just another PRICK in the wall.”

With that out of the way, he turned to the rumours about an Oasis reunion.

That was followed by a pop at the NME, in which Liam said: “NME just coz I don’t take your calls and join your spotty clan give over who’s having a MIDLIFE crises now.”

The previous day, Liam had described his brother as “Noel Katie Hopkins Gallagher” and said he was “talking out of his slack arse again”.
