New England’s perhaps most iconic athlete visited China’s most iconic landmark Sunday.

As part of his jammies promotional tour, Tom Brady visited the country’s centuries-old Great Wall and did what he does best: He threw a football.

It you couldn’t tell from the football he’s holding, Brady is in Asia as part of his endorsement deal with Under Armour. The tour is focused on promoting the Brady’s line of sleepwear. But he also took some time to show off one of his five Super Bowl trophies.

Brady also posted a photo of him and his son Jack on the Great Wall, with the caption “Wǒ ài zhōngguó,” which translates to “I love China.”

But that wasn’t the end of Brady’s activities Sunday. The Patriots quarterback also practiced martial arts with a fitness instructor in Beijing.

“My dream is to play a game here in China someday,” Brady said at the event, adding he hopes the NFL plays “many games” in the country in the future. He also referred to the NFL’s ultimately cancelled China Bowl, which the Patriots were set to participate in.

“We had an opportunity, I think, 10 years ago and my team was going to play here,” Brady said. “Unfortunately, it didn’t work out.”

An Associated Press photographer caught some still shots of Brady doing his best Ralph Maccio impression.

After such an action-packed Father’s Day abroad, the 39-year-old might actually need those recovery pajamas.
